Disney teen star Corbin Bleu of ‘High School Musical’ fame is gearing up to star on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical ‘In The Heights.’

Bleu will make his debut on The Great White Way in the lead role of Usnavi on Jan.25. His limited 13 week engagement will end on April 25.

Earlier this year, the 20 year-old Starlight Children’s Foundation national spokesperson released his sophomore album ‘Speed of Light.’ Bleu, who was recently honored as one of Variety’s ‘@15 Power of Youth’ award recipients, also starred on the short-lived CW drama ‘The Beautiful Life’ opposite Mischa Barton and Elle Macpherson.

‘In The Heights,’ which is in its third year at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, took home four 2008 Tony Awards as well as a Grammy for Best Original Cast Album. The musical centers on a tight-knit Puerto Rican community that resides in Washington Heights, New York.

In Oct. 2009, the show’s national tour kicked off in Tampa. Last year, Universal Pictures acquired the rights to produce a feature film based on ‘In The Heights.’
